Just watched salvage Uk on YouTube and they had rr sports with low fuel pressure and they had to remove the fuel tank and clean out as full of muck and algae type stuff. Don’t know if that’s the same for you. |

The pump in the tank doesn’t send fuel to the engine. Fuel is drawn from the tank through the filter by the high pressure pump which then supplies the fuel rail. The fuel tank really sits either side of the propshaft and the pump there just moves fuel over the hump above the propshaft and into a swirl pot that keeps the fuel line to the filter supplied. This is why bleeding the fuel lines is so important when you change the filter or break the fuel lines.

If the aux belt has failed, it's possible it damaged the crank sensor wiring, or the crank sensor itself. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

The fuel filter also controls the temperature of the fuel being sent to the injectors. |

After checking all the systems in the engine, including the crankshaft sensor, it turned out to be the Trigger wheel located behind the crankshaft pulley.
