White Wheels On A Blue Car, Yay Or Nay?

I purchased an off road set of wheels and tyres off of a fellow Freelander 2 owner that just so happen to be white. What do you reckon, yay or nay? Very Happy

There gonna show the dirt ! I have silver but thinking of getting them sprayed anthracite so the brake dust will not discolour them. 2013 FL2 XS.

Colour is an improvement, pattern is a downgrade.

Not for me, much prefer graphite or anthracite,
but if that's what like, then fine. Thumbs Up DAVE.

For what my opinion is worth , I think the white wheels look just fine , it’s a nice nod to the steel wheels on no nonsense Series and Defender models . I also think the 6 spoke alloys are the right wheels to do it on , again a no nonsense off road size rim that says fit for purpose .
White letter tyres are a marmite thing , throughout my life I’ve had off road vehicles for the last 40 years , if a tyre had white letters I always had then fitted reversed black wall out . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

It's very interesting the responses. I thought there would be more no's than yeses. Laughing When me and my partner brought the wheels her initial reaction was that they wouldn't work but apon fitting them to the car she has since changed her mind.

This wasn't a design choice, it was just an excuse for me to buy another set of wheels to have a set of road wheels and a set of all terrains. Very Happy The white tyre pen was our idea just because the wheels were white. For now they will stay white, but who knows into the future what colour they could go. Laughing

The reason I like real size wheels and Tyres , and the reason I didn’t have white letters . I wish I’d kept the Fl2 it’s replacement has just been delayed again until April 23 .
