AirCon fog in cockpit / floor well wet

2007 FL2 TD4 HSE - intermittently I get a fog from the air vents when the air conditioning is on which in turn can suddenly result in misted up windows.

When this happens, I also find the front footwells have got damp/wet.

It may depend on the difference between outside temp and internal temp but I haven't worked this out just yet, but it can be fine for a few weeks and then suddenly it happens !!

I have heard there may be filters/drip routes that can block (access via the footwells) but not sure what I'm looking for or exactly where ?

Anyone with this experience and have a solution would be great !!

If you have water in the front foot wells, you will have more in the rear foot wells as it slopes down to the rear. The rear 3 hole vents pulls out, then stick your hand down the hole & a bit to the rear for water. Vent simply pushes back in & self located pretty much first go.

This topic is unrelated but there are photos behind panels & under the front carpet. Also some info on removing panels, it's not difficult. https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic33026.html Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

air con drain pipe blocked or popped off

underneath the centre console forward of the terrain response dial, get you head in the footwell and you should see it, use a bit of pipe cleaner to clear it out and refit

In the photo a little to the left of the brake peddle, the little round brown thing on the "hull" & the black hose going off at "10 o'clock".
