Freelander 2 fuel flap will not open.
I have changed the fuse F34 10amp but it will still not open. Did a continuity check on the new fuse - fuse ok.
Could it be an electric component that is broken? Is there a manual override to get the fuel flap open?

It’s worth taking the battery off the terminals for a bit touch them together so everything is discharged then reconnect and see if that helps it, also with ignition on try taking the fuse out and putting it back in.

Oh yes worth double pressing the open button on key fob more than once.

Well, got it sorted in the end.
Was able to access the unit, bit of a squeeze, and gave it a tap with a wrench; just in case something had seized up, and miraculously it did the trick.
I did a continuity check via the fuse box; there was a circuit which suggested that no components were broken/burnt out, which was why I went for the 'give it a tap' optiion.
Went to Costco and filled it up.

Correct, force the flap gently so you can get something in to push the button down and then your in . Plenty of GT85 in the plunger button hole and it should be back to operating mode

Well I’ve just read Jules comment then CED’s and I’m getting a totally different picture.
