The fuel filter is a prime candidate. There can also be splits in the pipe work from the turbo. Just because you can’t hear it, it doesn’t mean there aren’t any and at 160000 miles I’d be looking at inlet pipes. Driven through any standing water recently. Water has been known to get into the air filter box, saturate the filter which then collapses restricting airflow. So have a look at the air filter. It’s 4 screws and on top the engine. Easy to check. |
