Rear door lock

Well, it hasn't taken long for the first problem to arise-the nearside door won't lock. Not too serious just a nuisance which we'll get sorted one way or another. 1 quick question-with the car being 12 yrs old can we expect the other 3 doors to suffer the same problem in the near future? If so we might as well get the parts in and have them available for when time and the weather permit, rather than wait till they fail at the most inconvenient time. I've found a good "how to" on Youtube, so shouldn't be too much of a problem.

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Rimini Red

I'd be very surprised if the locks were original. They seem to fail about 5 yearly.

Mine has had all the locks replaced in the first 6 years, so I'm about due another set soon. I've already had the NSR failing to unlock fully on occasion, so I'll be changing that one soon. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
