United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Orkney Grey

When I changed to a 2014 freelander 2 in 2017 they didn't support the later models so I sold my nanocom. Haven't actually got anything other than a cheap obd2 reader currently. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

2004 Zambezi silver Discovery 2 Td5 (Gone)
1963 Surf blue Morris Mini Minor Super de Luxe (my little toy)

Well I think you should have kept it, as it now supports FL2 up to 2014. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.
171037Km as of 09/05/22
Superchips Bluefin Flash
Nanocom Evo II (also sold)

Well, for 'cheap OBD reader' I'm using bluetooth ELM327 with Torque app on a phone - for reading DTCs and real time sensor data works 100% fine and costs a real bargain. But it can't do anything beyond that, not even delete the old DTCs Sad

The main benefit of Nanocom is it being 'all in one' solution - one device, no separate interface, no laptop. I can put in glove box and forget about it until I need it. And I already own the hardware.

But I'm afraid that it misses things I could potentially do with properly configured SDD and better (genuine?) interface. There is no feature comparison table anywhere (I'm not surprised at all), so thought about asking here Wink

You live and learn. Spoke to them in 2017 and they had no plans of doing an updated version. 🙄 Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

BBS have never been very good at keeping up with things IMHO, they always come up with excuses for not being able to do this or do that. If I ever buy another LR product, I’ll stick with the pirated copy of SDD & mongoose cable that I have & works perfectly well for me. The Nanocom IS a great bit of kit but it is being let down by the manufacturer & their software developers I think. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto.
