Has anyone painted their brake calipers in the Range Rover red caliper colour and applied the Land Rover decals? A quick look online tells me: It's called Tiziano red by Fiat. the paint code is 199. does anyone know?

Check with your insurance first. Green maybe cheaper. After 5 minutes they are covered in carbon anyway, so there is really no point unless you have onboard OCD cleaning setup! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

IIRC, this tended to apply to models where there is a higher performance version (think ££££) in the line up,
a bit like putting M3/4 badges on a basic BMW, then wondering why some basket has been tempted to nick it.
I don't believe it would be a problem with a Freelander.
I would paint then red if that's your choice  DAVE.

I have just painted the calipers of my Discovery using "VHT Engine Enamel" spray paint. Primer, Colour and Clearcoat

Looks much better, time will tell how long it lasts
