United Kingdom 2014 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Orkney Grey
New Range Rover Sport

Just seen the official Landrover ads for the new RRS.
Nice looking car, out of my price range but it will obviously be the latest fashion accessory for the well heeled wags and celebs.

Ditto

RANGE ROVER SPORT DYNAMIC SEP440e AWD AUTOMATIC PHEV

Just built mine on the website - Just a mere £92,500

I did start to track second hand RRS cars of about 2017 vintage, but in the last couple years their price just went up and up. FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)

Gents I am going to disagree, really don't like the look.
Don't know if it's the large wheels with skinny tyres, the lack of traditional headlights, or the flowing effect of the bodywork (I know what I mean) - it just looks as if the design team couldn't be bothered and just warmed up the wax model in front of the fire and let it sag.

I am told that you should never meet your heros, Always wanted a Disco with air suspension, had a Disco 5 HSE for a few weeks while mine was being repaired. Crossed the Big Disco, RRS and FFRR off my wish list after that.

440BHP and 70 mile battery range does sound nice. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Sumatra Black

Andy131. Check out the video at the 16.06 mark to see what it looks like with smaller wheels and off road tyres.
Now, this is exactly what I would want. Especially as it also has a full interior roll cage - but that's just me !
Just wish I could put one in my Freelander !!

That's the thing about LR Satnav, turning motorists into adventurers whether they like it or not.

Had to visit a customer in Doncaster the other day, maybe 90 minutes away - M61, M62, M1 and then into countryside. LR Satnav decided today was a good day to have an adventure, M61, M62 but only half way, then across country, dozens of achingly pretty villages with roads that would have been great on the motorbike 2h 45 mins later I was onsite - late. Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her

I appreciate what “Powerful” were trying to do but I just couldn’t watch that all the way through, it got so annoying….like somebody eating crisps right behind you in the cinema and talking about the flavour they were eating! Rolling with laughter

Nice looking car though, the the PHEV actually has a very useful range. Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......
