H11 LEDs in the Projector lamp will generally work ok and give reasonable light distribution, but they will be utterly pants in the H7 reflector section for main beam. Loads of glare, very little "throw" in a reflector.

And keep in mind that LEDs in a non LED headlamp are now an MOT failure. We had an HID kit in the wife's VW Eos, which failed the MOT as the lights weren't as they left the factory.

Loads of folk have had HID kits fitted to replace the appalling HB3 bulbs fitted within their projector lens lights but how many have incurred an MOT fail?? MY 09 GS manual in Lago Grey, Wood Co arm rest and side bumper strips - now sold.

No issues with my hid kit at mot. I know I sound like a broken record about them but they really are the best upgrade you'll make to your Freelander. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
