From memory that model is a FWD, in which case no, you can't fit TR, at least not without all the driveline hardware to go with it. If it was a basic 4WD without TR, then theoretically it could be retrofitted, but in reality it's simply easier to sell the lesser model on, and put some extra money into a better equipped vehicle, which will have more stuff as standard anyway. A good set of brand name all terrain tyres would be a much better investment than trying to convert the car to TR . I ran my FL2 regularly off road and in Penninw winters . The biggest single factor on how it will go will be the bit that connects it to the the ground . In real life the TR is a nicety , not a must have . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

Presumably you still have traction control via the brakes and some basic control of the haldex - just not driver variable. Jules |

Can't beat a bit of model name confusion... TD4e 4x4 with stop start (April 2009 - August 2010*) eD4 4x2 without TR or HDC (January 2011 - June 2014) * I'm guessing that the short lived TD4e badge was simply dropped and stop start became standard on all later manual TD4 cars ??? |
