@Nodge My 2014 FL2 has a huge drive flange. Its impossible to get the pump out without taking the flange off.

I chatted with Austen at Bell Engineering this week - they take the haldex off too. When you consider the price of the service kit & O ring, his labour charge is very reasonable and his does the full service, not just the filter and oil.

Jules have you done the mod to add drain plug to diff and ptu or just siphoning out?

Yes You're correct- they use different oils

I did the rear diff drain mod but didnt bother doing the PTU.

You'd wonder if the spec difference is really critical, 75/90 compared to an 80/90. Very tempted to put the same in both. But then you lot would all say "told you so" when my ptu blows up . Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
