With better weather have given the car a proper real polish.
SWMBO bought me an electric car polisher for Christmas and this is first time of using.
Learnt a few things like put polish on very thinly.

Did pop up the black plastic trim?



& it's very dirty under the plastic panel below the windscreen. Actually the plastic strip on the bottom edge of the glass is worth pulling off & cleaning out.

I had always assumed that rear bit of trim was held on with adhesive. May have to pop that off for a look, its a real dirt trap. 
Hung like Einstein, smart as a horse.

It just clips in, start at one end pulling it up. Easy to hose out. When you put it back make sure it is down fully so it doesn't rub on the bottom edge of the boot door. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Nice job Jim, I find car detailing very therapeutic and love spending time keeping our cars clean. Heres a few of mine looking very similar:
