It says in the article that Nic. Christiansen is the Land Rover importer (as well as Hyundai) for Denmark with 30-years in the car industry, and that they will establish an import office in Norway. However, during the first period, sale of LR will be through the existing LR dealer network who also service LR.

It also mentions that Tata did not want to continue collaboration with Volvo. Norwegian Jaguar import will not be affected by the change. However the Danish company will also be responsible for the import of LR as well as Jaguar to Sweden.

Nils Tronrud who owns Norway’s largest Land Rover dealer network (MotorPool) mentions that this is a good move for LR-Norway and that a joint distributor for all the Nordic countries has many advantages and the new importers will do everything necessary to increase the sale of LR in Norway/Sweden (something that Volvo has not done at all).

Personally I think this is an excellent development for Norwegian Land Rover owners and at last we will have an importer that cares about its cars and owners  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
