The Metropolis will have xenon headlights.
The Dynamic probably won’t. - that would be a no no for me.

Have to agree with Aveling, the HiDs on my HSE were excellent (although being an early FL2 it also had the supplementary Halogen main beams as well) and I wouldn’t buy a car without HiD or LED headlamps again, for sure. Regards

Iicr The xenon lights were actually an option even on the Hse
The hse lux and the metropolis may have got them as standard
They all have the projector fish eye though on the 13 on
The leather in the dynamic is probably slightly cheaper than the hse but it may well wear better hence what you are seeing
Cam belt is due on all these cars now due to age so if it hasn't been done it needs doing
Mine hasn't been done but I will do it in the summer myself I already have the tools from doing the last one
Main thing when looking is have a good test drive
Listen for any strange noises and any juddering or vibration just walk away
It may be a cheap fix but it's more likely big and the reason it's been sold
My 08 I just sold had a string of issues that was the main reason to upgrade for me it was sold to a dealer ( I dislike car dealers) so I don't feel I have ripped anyone off
He has put it up for sale £1500 more than he paid for it I can be certain it will cost more than that to make good but he may well not stand by it so be careful out there

Don't let the lack of xenon headlights put you off. There is a (very) expensive remedy involving replacement head light units at about £2000, or a £70 fix involving a HID light bulb upgrade. 👍 Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Hi did you get sorted as my HSE Lux is going on the market soon.
Might be out of your budget but main points are 2014 HSE LUX 64K miles
Just had major service items done including timing belt, water pump,
engine oil and filter, air filter, cabin filter, fuel filter, brake fluid, front discs and pads,
auxiliary belt. It had rear discs and pads last year, Hadlex filter and oil, front and rear diffs oil changed.
I've had the wheels refurbished with 4 new tyres.
She drives lovely is excellent condition all round with loire blue and ivory interior.

saw this and did a WBAC check on the price of my 2013(63) HSE Lux with 73500 miles and it came back as £11000 which in real terms would come down to £10500 if i were to sell to them. Im not looking to sell at the minute but was curious to see if the used market was cooling which it appears it may be.

Im looking toward a VW Transporter/Caravelle to replace my FL2 in all likelihood.
