Xenon gas discharge headlamp - stuck on full beam - repair?

Could anyone advise me whether these xenon gas discharge lamp units can be repaired if faulty?
Mine is the nearside lamp and is stuck on full beam. I have been advised that it will probably need to be replaced.
Thank you.

Maybe this is what you're looking for. You can check part number from photos.

Many thanks for your guidance folks.
It's pretty confusing identifying exactly which one to buy with all the options that are out there.

Yes, be careful what you buy. Make sure its marked LH HID UK. I see there are a few on ebay without labels which could be EU (for LHD cars) and there is a difference in beam pattern.

Best is to check against what you have already. Swapping over is straightforward plug and play if you replace like for like. driving on the right side
