Steering wheel cover

Just fitted a leather cover onto the steering wheel. Ours was in desperate need of something as the original foam stuff was deteriorating and looked/felt horrible. It felt like your hands were dirty after holding it but they didn't really look dirty!

Anyway, I've never stitched a cover on before, and it took about 2 hours. It isn't an easy job but I'm happy enough with it, it looks and feels a hundred times better than before.

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Zermatt Silver

I did the same to mine a couple of years ago and it still looks good now. A nice, low cost upgrade… Lexus RX450H - 500 mile a week commuter- I just couldn’t trust in a newer RRS or DS for that….
2009 Freelander 2 HSE... 155K miles, we’ve done 135k of those, has done brilliantly on the commute and staying firmly put as car two in the household
2002 Jaguar XK8 Coupe... fun, fast, ours for 12 years and owes us nothing - so staying with us too…

Scotland 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

My 2010 HSE auto steering wheel was black plastic and very shiny. Don,t know if original or not.
Anyway, car is Stornaway grey so I purchased a two tone , grey and black, from Amazon. Just one which fits over the rim.
Looks very smart. Did look at the leather ones but felt it was a lot of work.
Much warmer to the touch first thing in the morning. Jim A

I made a best offer and the seller came back with an offer of £16.50 + £1.99 postage, which I accepted.

So £18.49 total.
