.I snapped the solenoid connector off when removing the starter to do the cam belt. Had to make a running repair by soldering a wire from the inside of the solenoid, but didn't fancy it as a long term solution. Have to say though, the starter I bought is still sitting in the garage waiting to be fitted, and the "temporary" repair is still going strong 1 8 months later lol. It's due a service so I must fit it then! |
