Looks great in that colour, as does the D4 - a mate has one in that colour and it just oozes class. Current driveway contents:

Very nice indeed -- and I can't recall seeing one. Is that 'Kaikoura Stone' I wonder?

...... and the spare wheel which is original colour, so when fitting it you end up with odd wheels on one side or the other |

its actually growing on me, I like it ! I dont mind the wheels being black, BUT, they are old 2007 HSE 18" alloys, I never liked the shape of them, would look better with the HST style alloy like mine !!.

Looks like the spare was bought privately to replace the gunk kit supplied as standard equipment*. Being a different pattern and colour though, it would nag you to get the punctured tyre fixed and back on the car PDQ. *My 2013 HSEL was supplied with the gunk kit which was replaced within days of getting the car, albeit with a matching rim. Touch wood/fingers crossed etc, it has never been needed. |

I load my car up on my low loader fairly frequently - those stupid tubes would ground out on the ramp break over point - Chuck them in the skip. |

Technically I believe they are called “sliders” and if mounted properly can be extremely useful off road. Regards David Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me...... Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again...... |

Those are side tubes and wholly cosmetic - they are not weight bearing in any way, shape or form and will buckle with minimal pressure while the mounting brackets bend.
