Think there’s only the two lights - green for whenever you switch any lights on (apart from DRL) and blue for full beam. |

I believe that's standard for all cars, not just the Freelander. There's no need for lights for side, dip and main, so side and main beam lights are standard across the board. Not all cars, some have side, headlight and main beam indicator lights. Freelander doesn't. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Wouldn't the point be that no car has a separate indicator for dipped lights? I've never heard of it.

I know for certain Peugeot does, or at least did, back in the 90s and 00s when I was driving 205s, 305s and 405s. Separate warning light for side lights, dipped beam and full beam. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I can't remember if there was a side light indicator on the dash, but the 504 had side lights inside the B columns!

With the seats at that angle they must have served as overhead lighting |

Thanks for the replies. All other cars I have owned have had separate indication for sidelights, dipped headlights and main beam, so I was just wondering.
