plastic rear trim removal . . how ?

Just a simple question to you clever people can anyone advise how to remove the plastic boot trim ,the bit thats on the opposite side of the fuel cap, mine seems to vibrate when the subwoofer is thumping, its an irritation, I thought I would take it off and add some sponge or something to it Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
