I've already got an Oztent RV5 and previously borrowed a foxwing many moons ago when I had a Disco3. Has anyone fitted one to a Freelander? I'm leaning towards Batwing due to the better construction, built in legs and better packaging/cover - but not sure if a full length 2.4M one (which will zip to front of the awning on the RV5) is going to be too long for the Freelander.

Thanks for the pic and link. Leaning towards the shorter awning - I think the front overhang on the longer one will be too much. Current driveway contents:

LR, through Khyam, offered a Day Tent. Then 3 different Tunnels, for RR, for Disco 3 and FL2

Batwing and Foxwing are both 270deg canopies, so come all the way around from one side of the car across the tailgate.

Another pic with funny numbers on it. I think they are "inches" or some other Americanism

I should Not try to remember as its a Howling moon 2.1m wide not 1.4m I see where the 1.9m comes from now as that seems to match the 74 and a bit stuff . my first ever FL2 and I did keep it longer than most other cars! But its now gone way up Norf |

I took off our ARB awning while not traveling. The last trip, for 3 months didn't use the awning once. Previous trip also for 3 months only used it a few times, but needed it for the mosquito enclosure.
