You're basically buying direct from BCA with a mark-up from these guys (and little/no vehicle prep). Current driveway contents:

They get all their stock in from BCA. Every car that has been bounced around the dealers seems to end up with them, and I've seen the same cars come up countless times after apparently being "won" for a low bid. There were a couple of Freelander 2s they were offering last year that "sold" for well under book and were miraculously relisted a week later. Almost as if "no reserve" actually means "ah sorry, you didn't bid it up to what we wanted to suddenly there's a problem with the car" Current driveway contents: 2021 V60 Cross Country B5 2009 FL2 dog bus and shooting wagon On Order: 2023 Fisker Ocean Ultra - deposit paid. |

Here you go - all the evidence you need to know these guys are as bent as a used pipe cleaner :
Another car they have done this with: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_fsrp=1&..._dcat=9855 Loads of feedback stating cars unroadworthy on subsequent inspection, examples of damage not displayed in photos etc. As mentioned previously, these all come from BCA and they seem to use previous trader pics (the ones who realised they had a lemon so bounced it to BCA) to advertise them Current driveway contents: 2021 V60 Cross Country B5 2009 FL2 dog bus and shooting wagon On Order: 2023 Fisker Ocean Ultra - deposit paid. |

There's a corker on Google review (nb. They are Sterling Cars in Reading)
In summary, they often advertise cars they have already sold just to get customers on site so they can sell them what they *do* have. Bristol Street Motors used to do this back in the early 1990s. Advertise stuff that had previously been very popular despite not having it in stock, then "oh, sorry, just sold and on its way to our prep building on the other side of town. Was that the sort of thing you were after? We have lots of new stock coming in......" then pile on the pressure. Horrible to watch, I was glad to leave there. After almost getting stung by that Flipping Cars crook I steer well clear of anything other than buying directly from the owner/dealership. Corrado VR6 Mystic Blue - Gone

I am not defending them at all but their ebay site is clear, after you win the auction you can go and inspect the car and decide if you want to proceed with the sale.
