taking LR's website at its word, unless only on 2009 models you can see it listed on this page under interiors.

LR seem to have merged the SE and XS models and called the result XS. dropping the SE model.

Previous XS's had half leather, non memory electric seats, no sat nav, upgraded radio, bluetooth, front pdc and some other stuff above gs spec... they are the connoisseurs choice driven by only the best Whistle At work

sounds like you have made a decision on which model, now it becomes the hardest choice on the colour Laughing

Have a look on the LR website you'll find a list of compatible mobile phones, as some don't link up, if they do they don't transfer sounds through the radio, I have to admit its not the best system in the world comparing it to a parrot kit which will connect to a yogurt pot and a piece of string if they have to.

If your going to have to finance part of the deal, even a low amount, one of the RRSPORT members Kam100 has a finance company http://www.mhasnain.co.uk/ which I hear is very very competitive, even in sourcing cars, some of the RRS lot have used him numerous time Thumbs Up (If you decide to give him a call mention the forum Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Thanks npinks for the finance info, very useful, although having looked at the parrot bluetooth system on the internet i may decide to go with the GS afterall, may only have cloth but to be honest seems to have everything i need if i fit a parrot system into it. and i save between £3k-£4k Thumbs Up

yes the top 3 kits provide not only ipod and iphone integration but also feed the sound through the car speakers for music and calls, bonus is that it also supports full functions of my blackberry which the LR factory fit doesnt. (only call pickup and stop) Thumbs Up

Nice news on the financial side i just got a letter from the dreaded inland revenue stating i overpaid my tax return by £1,250.40 and will be getting a cheque in 7 days Milestone

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Zermatt Silver

Hi All,
Yes agree Freelander 2 is a great car, just moved over from a TT and worth looking private as mine is 07 SE with only 15k on the clock and got it for £16400.
Very honest and spotless car so as you have the time check out the private adds.

Cheers Dave

I have always been a bit wary of private buys, at least with a approved used you can return the car up to 30 days if not satisfied. But thats a really low price for an SE you got there DAVE S, well done!

Yes your right you do have to do your home work with private purchase, but my TT came from Audi dealer and lost half the price I paid in one year. The two best cars I've ever bought were the Freelander and my Caterham, both found on eBay and fantastic honest private sellers. So you can get a bargain and great car at the same time.

I still have a just under a year of the Freelander warranty left, and going in next week to have the alarm fixed "under warranty"

Happy hunting !!!

Dave
