Hi, if you are interested I bought the XTrons kit and all the bits below, about £450 in total but had a stroke and now unable to fit any of it.

I recently installed the PQS70DLRL in my 2008 FL2 which didn’t have the LR screen. It really was a plug 'n' play installation and the wireless CarPlay is simply superb. I personally wouldn’t be bothered with the basic version without CarPlay but then if you don’t use an iPhone, wireless CarPlay isn’t much use to you. I’d have to say that I find the standard Android interface very underwhelming and unattractive, but others I’m sure think differently.

Chris, deepest sympathies for your stroke. SWMBO had a stroke 3 years ago. Bought the FL2 after a D2 and she finds it easier to get in and out and extremely comfortable.

thanks Jim, Although a major stoke I was very lucky to have no lasting issues except fatigue and occasional forgetting of words in sentences (of course, that may be old age creeping up ! )
