Can you check the part number? if it matches the one listed in this link as "without swirl" then yes its a direct replacement;

I'm assuming from the above that later models, including SD4 don't have the flaps in the inlet manifold? Thank you guys for advice. Indeed the part numbers were the same, and that little arrow pointed to ''no swirl flaps'' so im quite happy for getting a manifold for only 60 EUR. Two more questions.

I have to admit I didn't fit it myself I got the local garage to fit it along with replacing the glow plugs at the same time. So I'm not sure what they did. Yes, I cleaned it all out. I started with different degreasers but they didn't really work. In the end I found some white spirit in the shed along with some old paint brushes that seem to best/cheapest way and it came out really clean. |

Cleaned mine out the same way as i clean out the R40 manifolds, oven cleaner soaked for a few hours then jet washed it out.
