[SOLD] 2013 2.2TD4 Orkney grey Manual GS +

Hi,

Hopefully our new car arrives in Sept Sadly its dragging on a bit Big Cry Hopefully here for Nov Question
which is when our FL2 will be released and For Sale (??? weeks now Whistle )

I bought it from a lady we know of, she ordered it new from our local L/R dealer and she lives about 5 miles away from us,
she had a 40 mile each way commute to work which reflects the miles and also that it was decent journeys and not short, stop, start trips, no kids and rarely even took a passenger.
it still has all the spec labels in the rear seat pocket.

All her servicing was by the same, supplying dealer and we have used a local garage
If you do an MOT gov check on the reg you can see the history, when I bought it she agreed to put a fresh MOT on,
it failed on a ball joint which she had replaced for the pass and advised on the brake pads,
I replaced front and rear pads soon after getting it.
I have done maintenance work as needed and preventative such as fluids and Haldex
along with a couple of door lock actuators that started to play up Rolling Eyes
all fluids done along with gearbox fluid,
I had the Haldex full service and MOT done by a known local specialist in Oct 2020
Every thing works, aircon, heated front screen, stop/start after fitting a new AGM battery in Nov last year with a 4 year warranty.

I have full confidence in it, to the point that I sold our "main car" as prices where so high rather than chancing the wait to p/ex in Question , so its currently our Main Car Cool

Future work planned Question
if we were to keep it, the MOT was due 16 Nov, had a New MOT done,
I would have the specialist do the cam belt, water pump service (£450)
(I know it should be done at year 7 Rolling Eyes )
would also fit a pair of Yoko All Season tyres for the winter, new Wranglers have just gone on the front and rears have 3mm,
bin them at that time and put the Yokos on, I am a convert to true Winter or all season tyres when the temp drops Thumbs Up

Thats it just more maintenance Very Happy

I am 2nd owner and have had it longer than most cars I have owned (retired 5 years ago and swapped car each 9-12 months till the FL2) I have not reset the trip for over 3000 miles including a couple of weekends away towing the tintent and it still show 34.6mpg. all books and details from new, 2 keys and many receipts

Extras over the GS spec, full leather with front Armrests, heated front seats, heated Front screen, F&R PDC's, towbar with twin sockets and its got DAB radio and Bluetooth but think they all have that.

Service history stamped in the book shows,
July 2013 new
May 2014 15447 service at L/R
March 2015 31739 service at L/R
Jan 2016 48101 service at L/R
Dec 2016 65948 service at L/R
Nov 2017 83301 service at L/R (+discs and pads)
Nov 2018 100280 service at L/R
July 2019 111017 service Indep (+front and rear pads)
Oct 2020 113907 service Indep (+ gearbox/front diff oil, ptu rear diff oil checked, tracking, Haldex full service)
The dealer also sent me a print out of their service work and advised they replaced F&R discs and pads at the 2017 service and that they had also replaced the clutch/flywheel assembly under warranty at 51000 in March 2016.
Miles now 117200

Looking for £7000 allowing for next service which you could do yourself (or not!) any questions ask away

Deposit Taken Thumbs Up just to sort out the details and timings now Embarassed

Hi,

I'm interested in your FL2, but... I live near Inverness! If I read your post right you're looking to sell in September, which would suit me fine. My wife's sister lives in Sheffield, and she might be heading down but maybe not till October. Can we have a chat about possibilities? Cheers, Iain

Hi Iain,

will drop you a PM with my number if you want to have a chat about it Thumbs Up

A really good option would be if you know someone with a small plane Shocked
they could drop you off at Gamston airfield thats nearby.

In no rush to sell as it will be back to "Reserve" duties when the new car arrives Cool

Thumbs Up .
