Momentary deceleration issue. Ideas anybody?

Addendum to my previous post: The sudden and momentary deceleration, similar to jabbing the brakes that was traced to aP0193 fault code (see pic below). This had nothing to do with Cruise Control.

More like a fuel supply problem.

In the past week it's happened twice on the motorway, and once when pulling away from the lights. It's so brief, it's over before you've had chance to notice it.

My first thought is to change the Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor, and see how we go from there.

Anybody got any other ideas please?

Very common with the i6. Solution is probably to replace the fuel pressure sender on the end of the fuel rail.

Cheap and easy DIY. I'd just do it, because even if the problem is something else, that sender will fail eventually anyway after 100K miles. But that will most likely fix it.
