My i6 had side steps fitted and I was going to take them off as the securing rivets on the steps were corroded to , but on inspection of the brackets the nuts had corroded solid in the rivnuts in the floor pan and just turned the rivnuts, so I repe I repe aired the rivets and kept the steps on.

That was my first thought too, but I had a revolt from SWMBO regarding storage space, or at least lack thereof. So the rims are for it, I'm afraid! Tim |
