I had been looking at putting a winch onto my Freelander. Looked at the 1 from Muddymods but with import shipping etc was just not economical. I approached a fabrication company here in South Africa with the idea and they were willing to work with me. We discussed the concept and got the ball rolling last year November. It is eventually complete and on the car after alot of CAD drawings and testing. This is the final design they came up with.

I like reading your posts. You do things which I like and they are not just 'bolt-on-bits'.

Very nice build, and I too would like to know who made that particular snorkel design?
