Do you think that by using the traction options (Mud,Snow,etc) or even switching Traction Control off altogether that you may alter the handling and perhaps rule out any stability control problems.

Also does slightly braking or accelerating change the cars atitude during the corner? FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)

That was one of my first thoughts, switched off the dsc and it’s the same, went through all the control modes also and it acts the same.

Not noticed any change with throttle inputs or braking but will try dragging the brakes through a few bends on way home later see if it effects things

I did have a thought could a subframe or something be cracked? Is it common at all, not had chance to look futher yet so just a general musing currently

Yes, it could be a frame or subframe issue. I had one on a previous vehicle which manifested as a "twitch" in slow corners. If it is, it should be easy for a shop to identify and even visually see. A test drive should point them in the right direction.

Thanks for the input, I had a duff subframe on a car years ago and no similar noises as yet, will be trying tracking first a set of link roads and a good inspection as cheapest option first.

Update time

Found time and weather played ball so did full run down front to back of all bushes and basically anything that moved

Only thing I could find was the nsf ball joint has downward movement as if it’s loose didn’t put a spanner to it as had kids running round with wife so will re check tomorrow to see if it is and if not get it into garage asap for that and the link rods to see if that cures it.
