Fine thanks Dave, but why do we regularly have folk appear on here with their first post being say a technical or mechanical question they need solving? No form of intro, no hello new member here . . . Perhaps it’s just an ‘old person’ thing |

Its a Freelander thing Sid, always problems to solve. In answer to the question, the Lambda sensor is behind the engine six inches from the Turbo connection. Its easier to drop the whole exhaust to do it. A big clamp on the turbo, and six rubber rings. Heat it up with an accetalene torch before trying to turn it. Don't forget the electrical plug at the centre top at the back of the cylinder head first. |

Apologies for not saying HI as a new member, was outside, head under the bonnet, swearing and drinking cold tea when I asked the question from my phone….. manners and hot tea now both back in force!
