2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Stornoway Grey

Wind Deflectors

2010 HSE auto

Hi, thinking of fitting wind deflectors to myFL2.
Looking around most of the parts people supply Britpart ones.
Anybody any experience of Britpart Deflectors?,
Easy to fit? are they adhesive or clips?
Or any other makes recommended.

Hi, I've got climair fitted all four doors,
they're OK but I did have to trim the ends to fit them in the frame,
No real issues with them been fitted about three years,
But please be aware they will reduce visibility around the A post.
To be honest I would not bother on another motor. DAVE.

I have the Climair deflectors, chosen because I personally prefer the clip-in fitting over the stick on… they fit and work fine for me. Lexus RX450H - 500 mile a week commuter- I just couldn’t trust in a newer RRS or DS for that….
2009 Freelander 2 HSE... 155K miles, we’ve done 135k of those, has done brilliantly on the commute and staying firmly put as car two in the household
2002 Jaguar XK8 Coupe... fun, fast, ours for 12 years and owes us nothing - so staying with us too…

I fitted Heko deflectors a couple of months ago. Fit using clips.

I have the Heko ones too, happy enough with them though found rear awkward to fit and occasionally have had the window bounce back due to catching the rear ones, worse when first fitted, rarely any issue now.
As said above they do reduce visibility a little around the A Pillar but got used to that quickly and I don't notice now.
Not sure I would have bought them myself (was gifted them) but quite like the look and feel now. Andrew

another vote for Heko.

No problems, much much better than the LR accessory, surface mount, stick-on's.

Eventually ordered a set from Paddocks of Britpart stick ons.
Had a set of these on my old D2 for 8 years with no problems.
Will just have to wait and see.

with the Disco 2 I can see why you went for stick-on's

but the door framing of the FL2 is very different and stick-on seem to look odd .... too 'eyebrow' for me .

I think these are EGR ??

Heko fitted to mine for a few years now. Not sure they do too much to be honest. You still get the low frequency vibration noise if you open the rear windows, which was the reason for buying them in the first place.

They're ok for cracking the window slightly open to let air in if it's raining.
They're also starting to drop slightly out of the window channels, despite using the clips AND double sided tape, plus they're starting to "craze" making them look like they've shattered !

I went down the road of "in the window" deflectors, the passenger front side snapped on fitting so I have three others in the box ready for anyone who wants them! I went for Britpart stick on ones, they work very well easy to fit and are still on the car without any issues. So thats my choice 2014 Freelander 2 XS TD4
