As above my 2010 FL2 seems to drop into right hand bends as if the front end it tucking underneath the chassis,

just had 4 new tyres

All bushes look fine,

Off side anti roll bar link needs replacing as was an advisory on mot a couple of weeks ago and has a slight knock but hasn’t failed

Suspension on both sides seems to pass the bounce test no leaks on shocks that I can see.

Tracking needs a slight adjustment and will be done ASAP but isn’t massively out of line, slight drift to left over 2-300 yards a little more than just camber I’d say

No declared accident history

Anything else I’ve missed? That could cause it?

Sort out the Anti roll bar links and bushes first, easy and cheap to do.

I see you say new tyres but are the pressures right ?

To update this as I went a different way to work this morning

On a long sweeping right hand bend at 50-60-70mph the car is trying to tighten its line fighting me on which line I want to choose

On a similar bends at between 30-40 mph the cars tracks fine and goes where I want it to go

It’s as if at the higher speed with the weight transfers to the near side something is allowing the car to move when it shouldn’t

I had another look last night front bushes in ok order, front suspension still passes bounce test

Couldn’t check rear trailing arms due to time of night and clothes I was wearing but will check them this week.

Tyre pressures double checked and at 32 psi.

Any help welcome as it doesn’t feel safe

I would question the traction control, the Freelander has a very sophisticated traction and stability control program that seems to allow it to corner in all conditions as though it is on rails, though you can beat it in some conditions, you may have a sensor problem best get a scan for any fault codes my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I had a broken drop link on the rear and fixing that helped with handling! Also fitted the later anti roll bar to the rear. Mine is an 07MY so might not be an issue with yours.

Might also be worth checking brakes are all in fine fettle.

Definitely get your fault codes read as that will eliminate any worries with traction control, EBD etc.

No lights on dash currently only other thing it’s had was new rear disc pads and handbrake shoes this past week

Didn’t touch the sensors at all I might add

Standard tyre pressure on mine is 35psi, but I do run them at 36.
Depends what size tyres/rims you have.
Mine are 19”

235/65/17 32 psi is standard

It did this weird thing it’s doing since I’ve bought it just a a barely noticeable amount, now I’ve had 4 matching tyres fitted it’s brought it to the forefront of how the car drives

Am I right in thinking that you are describing oversteer characteristics on (quick) right hand bends only.

As far as I understand the traction control works with managing the rear brakes.

If you had movement in worn right hand rear bushes, then that could be your problem, as the wheel braked to correct to a theoretical line.
