Thanks for your replies, yes to codes and stalk. I just think it’s a case of going back through fuses, relays, motor and then the wiring to the BCU, typically it’ll be something small I bet |

It’s in the drivers side bonnet latch. Wipers stoppers working again last week so disconnected plug again , removed latch, checked sensor switch, cleaned relay/ reseated it and they were back on again. Need to get a new latch and sensor- only £30 from LR and easy to fit. |

Does this mean the car recognises when bonnet is open through bonnet catch switch, and turns wipers off?

Yes, clearly mine was the enhanced version though where the wipers cut out when the bonnet was both open and closed! |
