So did the car continue to run after the auxiliary belt snapped? If so, no real ideas to help. If the car stopped running at the same time, could be that is a deeper engine problem, perhaps the cam belt failing causing the engine to lock/ stop suddenly, an the aux belt snapping is a secondary failing due to the shock load?

Does anyone know if it's easy to see the cambelt without major dismantling? On some Peugeot engines (which is what's in the FL2) you can just unclip a plastic cover and see the state of the belt. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto

The plastic cover comes off ease enough. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

Yeah it kept in running after the auxiliary belt snapped. So i only lost power steering,and the alternator didn't charge 😑 |

Check the camshaft sensor. And its wiring. It is used only when starting and then ignored.
