Read standard basic DTC codes?

Or get into mfg specific programming functions?


The best, period, would be the JLR SDD software, which is of course very expensive... and it might even be worth it if you were going to do a lot of heavy mx.

You can also get things like these that provide more vehicle-specific functionality (but probably won't do everything the dealer software will):

Dodgy but free copy of JLR SDD and a clone Mongoose lead. Shouldn't cost more than £50, and gives dealer level diagnostic ability. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

icarsoft will do basic work reliably
£100 ish
GAP tool does lots more £400 ish
Try the jlr copies at your own risk
