Intake hose?

Hello all,

Just done an oil and filter change on the old girl. While doing so, I've noticed what looks like oil on the bend of the plastic air intake hose? See photos.

Could it be split? If so, what damage could it do?

Could some kind soul post the LR part number so I can order another?

Thanks in advance 👍

Cheers

If you clean up that area you may well find there is a crack between the (plastic) welded on bracket and the intake tube. Regards

David

Lovely i6 has now gone, but not me......

Please let me know if anything in my post offends you, as I may wish to offend you again......

If it is just a split in the plastic I'd clean it up and put a layer of something like sikaflex sealant on it, when hardened it will be a permanent repair. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Thanks for the replies.

I'll try the silkaflex tip 👍
