I thought that was not possible on later models (2014) as it will falg up errors, unlike earlier models where its a fairly straight forward procedure. Hence the blanking plate with a hole.

Mine has the blanking plate with hole, no issues with it. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Blanking plate with a hole will not work just postpone the problem, fit a solid blanking plate and have the EGR deleted from the ECU, no EGR faults no codes/errors period... and a cleaner engine |

I've no idea I'm afraid, except to say its not the easiest thing to get at and so there will be quite a bit of labour involved. Your best bet is probably to ring around your local dealerships. Jules |

Had mine replaced in September 2019 by LR specialist for a shade under £600. The valve itself was £245. There were incidentals like, diagnostics, gaskets and the throttle body had got gummed up which required cleaning. |
