Upgrading head unit, help needed please

I’m trying to upgrade the standard radio / single slot cd in my 2010 FL2. I have bought an installation kit, but it’s clear my educated guess was incorrect and the adaptor harness is the wrong one ( I bought the Connects2 CTKLR03).
The car has these connections in - can anyone confirm if this is the fibre amplified system, or offer any other info please ?

The 2 black plugs in your hand are optical fibre connectors.

You do indeed have the MOST system. You will need the other Connect2 adapter kit. The expensive one. And the kit to adapt the head unit connectors to DIN connectors. It is a lot of spaghetti that needs to be tucked away, but it is doable.
I thought I had written a post about it but I haven't, my apologies.

I have found it isn't exactly plug n play (is it ever?).

Make sure your old head unit is set to neutral in the equaliser, fader and balance before you unplug it.

If I think of anything else or you need more info just ask.

Have fun, take it slow, be patient. MY11 SD4 SE Auto
