Or a decent piece of thick tape down the whole fitting so any potential light-fingered thieving geezer wouldn't be able to see the screws |

Don’t need to see them… What I did to 'steal' my own light was gently run the screwdriver up or down to find the recesses in which the screws sit - practically self guiding onto the target. A little pressure would flex or pierce the tape to give the locations away. |
