Passenger side fusebox

2010 HSE Auto
Need guidance, back wiper not working. Took it out ,very dirty inside, cleaned out , greased and put back.
Need to check fuse in passenger fusebox.
Have read the book, and Haynes manual but for the life of me I cannot get the glovebox released.
Am I missing something or just not being brutal enough?

No need if your flexible enough,
I manage to access the passenger fused panel and I'm
fairly elderly, just bend over a bit more Whistle DAVE.

You don't need to remove the Glovebox to get to the fuse box, the fuse box panel is underneath the glove box.

You don't have to remove it but you probably will do your back in. It's not difficult.

The is a small grey plastic piece sticking up above the left side rear edge of the box, give this a short sharp shove to the right of about a cm to pop it out.

Pull the bottom left side of the box out with a short sharp tag of a few cm, you can see the hinge at the bottom on the box, how left & right has to pop out.

Then easy out the stopper on the left side of box near the top to clear the dashboard.

Then the right side of the box will come out.

Put it back in the reverse order.

If you have large hands, clip the grey plastic damper in just before the left side of the box is back in position. It is near impossible to clip the damper back with the narrow gap over the top edge of the box afterwards. If you have small hands it can be done but trying to get the exact position to clip it in can be irritating. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Thanks for the helpful replies. Getting to nearly 80 I do have to be careful about my back.
I will very carefully look again at this.
Just confirms my thoughts over the years that designers should be made to work in the field with whatever they make.
Caterpillar were one of the worst.
Thanks again Jim A

Knee pad on the ground when looking at the fuse box!

& don't forget to push the front seat right back. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
