Maybe it’s the sensor that’s gone? Do all door mirrors have a temperature sensor? I still need to replace mine so wonder if this needs to be specified? |

I think that the external temp sensor is in the drivers mirror --- correction Left Hand Mirror ---

Thought it was in the bottom edge of the nearside mirror? |

That’s very helpful, chaps, as I don’t need to be trying to find the impossible, i.e. a driver's door mirror with a temperature sensor! |

Could be a broken wire in the door harness where it passes though the hinge
