New Owner Silly Clutch Question

Hi I've got a 20013 FL2 150 diesel - stupid question - is it a cable or hydraulic clutch?

There's no mention of a clutch fluid reservoir in the handbook and looking from the top it looks like a cable operated arm?

Local clutch centre have quoted for a new 2 piece clutch plus concentric slave so am confused ( which is easily done!)

Hydraulic clutch - like a lot of modern vehicles the clutch reservoir is incorporated in the brake fluid reservoir.

And unlike clutch kits of old, the hydraulic concentric slave cylinder doesn’t come in a clutch kit and is always quoted separately. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
Evoque SD4 Dynamic Lux Auto
Present: Audi A3 S Line.

Thanks so is it advisable to change that too while it's apart?

yes - change the lot whilst its apart. I've had the concentric slave fail before the clutch has worn out on other cars Jules
