I am running the 2017 volvo discs in mine which I burnt myself after acquiring the images. Wouldn't work at first, I had to insert disc "d" to force the update to the system software. After that the UK / France disc ( amongst other countries ) seems to work fine. I ventured on to the motorway the other day for the first time in a long time and was surprised that I got live traffic updates and that the screen counted down each motorway junction and had details for amenities at each services ( in France ). I have not really used the original disc that came with the car so can not say if the Volvo maps differ much from the land rover maps, though there is certainly more detail of the roads in rural France on the newer maps than the old. |

When I did mine for the 2019/20 update I just put the new disc in the payer under the drivers seat, started the Nav and it updated itself. Took a while mind. |

Updating a 2014 is different to updating a 2007 model.

Just ordered a disc from satnavishop. In my D2 I had a Tom Tom which also used as a speedometer. Easier to see and more accurate. Also changed the voice to Billy Connolly, good laugh at times. Don,t know yet if the voice can be changed on the disc.

I read several comments on the Web saying that it took a long time, so I looked for an Instruction Video.
