47°C so about 116°F & the air conditioning worked.

The system will vent the pressure if it gets too high. @p_gill, nice thread and title! I tested my A/C at about 95 fahrenheit and she blew 44 at the vent on recirculate after the valves were replaced and the system recharged. |

For reference the original design target for the VW Phaeton was very ambitious.
I realize that the FREEL2 can’t go that fast. However the highest heat load is actually at low speeds. I am thinking about off road in the Sand Dunes. What was the original design target for the Freel2 in the Sand Dunes? I did upgrade my cooling fan to the Volvo dual fan, which should help. But that brings me back to my original question. What was the original design specification for the HVAC on the Freel2 and am I close to exceeding that design intent? Thanks Paul |
