United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Auto Izmir Blue

The 16" alloys were fitted to the poverty FL2.

The steel wheels are 17" and yes need the correct wheel nuts, NOT the same as the alloy nuts. I believe the steel wheels were a Ford design, used as a spare, although I have seen 17" steel with megga tread tyres fitted, look good.

I know of a guy who uses Winter tyres ......... all year round .[/quote]

is that correct 3lander?
as my motor came with a steel spare and no extra nuts, plus I don't recall see anything in the
handbook, although it was a long time ago I read it. Very Happy

I had a 17” steel wheel with a 235/65 Wrangler as a spare. It had a 50mph limit emblazoned all over it probably as the wheel nuts were designed for alloys.
