United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Zermatt Silver

At the end of the day it’s an eight year old car that was being heavily discounted at the end of the production runs . Intrinsically there is nothing special about it . The dealer must be able to turn a profit on it , so everyone should be happy . On the other hand it might be a mistake !

Scrub that I’ve seen the cat S remarks . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

2016 Subaru Outback SE 2.0 diesel SE Premium Lineartronic Sold 2024 after 8 years and 80k miles . Best Car I ever owned !

2023 Toyota Hilux invincible X 2.8 Auto .

I t really does depend on the accident. Wife’s 2 year old MG3 was clipped on the rear os corner. Respray wheel arch, alloy wheel/tyre and possible back axle. Car value before accident £5k
Turns out that wheel and tyre new less than £100. Stub axle new again less than £100, bodywork £350. But insurance paid out for Cat S. We fixed it quids in, but worth virtually nothing if we were to sell it Tangiers Orange - gone, missing her
Replaced by Ewok what a mistake - now a happy Disco Sport owner

Nice dent on the lower front N/S of the bumper. Maybe a clue as to the real damage.....?
However, they could have removed this with a heat gun. My rear bumper was pushed in by some Censored in Asda car park a few years ago. Removed the rear light, gently heated around the edges of the dent with a heat gun and popped it out . Really couldn't notice until right up close , either.
