Question about PDF and regeneration AT 07 2.2 HSE Freelander

Hello everyone and thank you for letting me join. Yesterday i finally picked up one of my «dream» cars.. freelander 2. liked them forever but finally it was time to buy myself one.. how ever i purchased one with a problem. Its in limp home mode. It has only one Error code. P244D - Exhaust temperature too high for regeneration bank 1. if i reset the Error i can drive 100-200 meters and the code returns. No matter cold or warm car. It comes instantly. The car has done 232.000 km and had a full service history. But from what i can read in the documentation the EGR has been blocked off in 2016.. i tried driving it at 3000 rpms locking it in 2 gear for 40 minutes. No results. I also tried to remove pressure sensor at the dpf, filler it with dpf cleaner as instructed on the product. Took it for a spin, had quite a bit of smoke then.. but after 15 minutes the smoke went away and the car is still the same.. so my conclusion.. there is either a defective temp sensor at the dpf causing limp home modus.. or the dpf is clogged and needs replacing... any clue to how i figure out what it is..? I also seem to have a slight turbo sound on around 2000 rpms idle.. checked the hoses but could not find anything.. but if this was related surely i would have another code telling me something about boost pressure? Thank you all for any assistance.
