Freelander 2 2014 sd4 restricted performance warning ⚠️

I have a restricted performance warning with an Amber engine management warning also, when driving up hills the performance has reduced.
Question 1 can I still drive the car
Question 2 what is the likely cause

2014 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Firenze Red

A very likely candidate would be the short air intake hose below the throttle body - it'll have a hole or split in it.
Otherwise fuel filter possibly.

2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Stornoway Grey

I had a similar problem, it was okay to drive, it was a split in the short turbo hose on the front of the engine.
